This book deals with the construction and evaluation of a guideline to evaluate the quality of the care structure, i.e. physical and organizational charactistics of a care setting, in treatment centers for mildly mentally retarded (MMR) children and young people with emotional and behavioral disturbances (EBD).
The guideline developed, entitled KOMPAS, is intended to support providers of treatment centers for MMR children and young people with EBD to evaluate and improve the quality of the actual care structure. The content is based on explicit criteria and indicators, developed with the use of a Delphi-technique.
