1) Orders
Orders, queries and claims for Eburon books should be addressed to Eburon, P.O. Box 2867, 2601 CW Delft.
You may order on-line on our website www.eburon.nl. Booksellers receive a special user account that automatically calculates trade discounts. In order to obtain such a trade account, please send a bookstore account request by email to info@eburon.nl. Online orders can be paid directly using Visa or Eurocard/Mastercard. You can enter a VAT number upon finalizing the payment (only applicable for bookstores in the EU).
You may also order by mail, phone, fax or e-mail: info@eburon.nl.
You may also order our products through the University of Chicago Press (North America).
Orders are confirmed either by invoice or notification.
Eburon reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute concerning payment of a previous order.
If you have ordered any not yet published titles (or if a book happens to be out of stock), those books will be placed on backorder and shipped when available.
If you have ordered multiple books and some are not yet available, we will ship the available books now and the remainder when available, at the same shipping charges that would apply if all were currently available.
2) Prices and payment
All prices are listed in euro and are subject to change without notice. In the case of an ambiguity in price or promotional offer, the terms and conditions set and inter-preted by Eburon Academic Publishers will be considered final.
Books will be invoiced only in euro (EUR). Payment is due at the time of ordering. Payments may be made by bank transfer or credit card. The following credit cards are accepted: American Express; Eurocard/MasterCard; Visa. When paying by credit card, please include with your order: the type of card, the card number, the expiry date and the signature.

Until complete payment has been received, goods remain the property of the publisher.
A discount, at the discretion of the publisher, is granted to trade customers. A surcharge will be added for postage, packing and handling, unless otherwise stated in the order forms.
3) VAT
Non-Value Added Tax (VAT) registered customers in the European Union (EU) should add the appropriate VAT rate applicable in their country to the prices. VAT-registered customers should include their VAT registration number with their order. In all other countries local taxes may apply.
4) Shipping and handling
Shipping and handling charges are added to the list price. For current rates, please use the order form on our website, which calculates shipping costs automatically. Overseas shipping is by surface mail unless air is specifically requested. The exact cost of air delivery will be added to the order total. You should allow at least six weeks for overseas surface delivery.
5) Availability
We will supply goods ordered depending on the availability of stocks. Indications of the availability of a product is given at the time of ordering.
Should a title be unavailable at the time of ordering, you are invited to submit your e-mail address so that we can send you an e-mail advising you that the product is newly available following a reprint or re-publication.
Should a title become unavailable following your order, we will inform you by e-mail or letter as soon as possible.
If you have paid by cheque or bank transfer and all or part of your order proves un-available, your money will be reimbursed as soon as possible.
6) Delivery
In accepting the delivery, the purchaser agrees with our conditions of sale. Delivery is made to the address given when you order, or to the address given while signing up for a online booksellers account. Delivery times are approximate and represent average delivery times corresponding to the time normally required to process and deliver an order. Eburon Academic Publishers will not be responsible for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations relating to these conditions if such delay or failure arises from causes which are beyond its reasonable control.
7) Returns policy
Products with manufacturing defects are accepted for return and will be substituted at the publishers costs. Claims for product damaged in transit must be reported to Eburon within 60 days. Trade customers may return products at any time, after having requested and received permission from the publisher. A copy of the original Eburon invoice must accompany each return. Products must be new, unmarked and packaged to insure receipt in condition suitable for resale. Ship all returns, freight prepaid via traceable method. You will receive a full refund for all goods returned, except for shipping costs. We can only refund shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
No cancellation or refund requests for a journal will be accepted for the current year once a subscription has been processed. |
